Anna was able to have two birthday celebrations... not bad for a girl just turning 2!  She first celebrated in Texas with her Uncle Mike, Uncle Drew, and Aunt Ginia.  Then we left for Florida and she had a wonderful party on her actual birthday, May 3rd.  The only down side was that Anna was very sick on her birthday.  She woke up fine, but after her nap, she started getting sick.  It was going around the house and her turn just happened to start on her birthday.  It was so sad!  We had friends who came to celebrate with us, and had cake to share with them.  We couldn’t really eat Anna’s cake in front of Anna, and not let her have some, so we decided that because she was getting sick anyway, why not.  We also saved a piece for her until she was all better and she was able to actually enjoy her cake.

She received many nice & thoughtful gifts and had a very memorable birthday.  She loves to watch this movie that Steve made for her to help her remember.
