I knew this was coming. It seems my girls all grow hair the same way. Short on top, and quick to grow in the back. Resulting in a tail-like-look. With Elizabeth I was just so thankful that she finally had some hair, I just let it grow. I was blinded to the fact that by 18 months it looked like this:
And thankfully a friend of mine helped me to see that it was not a becoming look and that if I trimmed it up a bit, as hard as it was, it would grow in much better, and she was right. I was still a bit slow with Anna, but her’s grew in better than Elizabeth’s.
I decided to be more proactive with Hope, and today she received her first haircut. It didn’t come out all that well as she was extremely wiggly, and she is a strong girl, so even with Steve holding her down, big kids entertaining her, and me cutting really quickly, it still came out crooked, but at least the tail/mullet look is gone and it can grow in more even.

Hope honey don’t cry. Mommy is making you look beautiful. Love you
